Which mattress is best for me
I am 5.4 and 11.6st I currently have a king size divan medium/firm pocket spring bed, after around 4 hours of being asleep I wake up with really bad back pain between the bottom of my shoulder blades and my lower back the only way to get rid of the pain is to get up and walk around.
I would like to know which mattress I should buy to improve this?
Hi Diana,
With your particular body weight you fall within the medium spring tension/feel bracket and I would hazard a guess that discomfort is a direct result of your current mattress being too firm for you.
Bodyweight | Spring tension |
---|---|
Upto 16 Stone / 50-101kg | Medium (1.4mm) |
16 Stone / 101kg Upwards | Firm (1.6mm) |
Available in Bespoke Products (Please Call) | Soft (1.2mm) |
The Origins Pocket 1500 is synthetically upholstered and will provide an overall medium feel with a spun bond encased spring unit which has the correct amount of support for you.
Alternatively, if your budget permits, the Artisan Naturals or Artisan Bespoke 004, which contain natural upholstery and you can select the spring tension to suit. Both the Artisan products, if selected in medium spring tension should suit and will provide a similar feel, the difference being that the Naturals is 85% natural upholstery with the 004 having 100%.
I trust that the above helps, but if you require any further advice or guidance once you have viewed these products, please call our office on 0161 437 4419.
Kind regards Julie
