Mattress for slatted base

Can you advise which is the best mattress for a king size slatted base with no lip (slats 62mm wide; space between 69mm; approx 730mm long , slightly bowed with a central support. Current mattress is pocket sprung 10" deep and has developed two dips either side of the middle! (pics available if required). Husband is approx 11st and Wife is approx 9st. depending on the season.....

Any of our pocket sprung mattresses can be used on your slatted base provided that you apply a barrier, usually thin (3-5mm) MDF over the slats. This will provide the mattress with a uniform surface upon which to sit and prevent ridging occurring as a result of the mattress dipping into the gaps between the slats.
All pocket sprung mattresses should be turned and or rotated on a regular basis to allow even settlement of the fibres and if this not done, you can end up with dips and hollows where you sleep. In addition, the central ridge supporting the slats can produce a ridge or dip in this area as thew ridge is not flexible.
With your particular body weights, we would suggest that you opt for a medium spring tension/feel mattress. Please view the Origins Pocket 1500, which has a standard medium tension spring unit together with layers of man made upholstery providing an overall medium feel.

Alternatively, if you prefer natural fibres in your upholstery, please view the s Artisan Naturals or Artisan Bespoke 004, both of which can have the spring tension selected to suit and also have an overall medium feel in the upholstery. The Artisan Naturals has 85% natural upholstery whereas the 004 has 100%.
