Returning a new mattress bought online advice
If we buy one of your John Ryan By design online mattresses and we don’t get on with it, can we return it?

Many thanks for your question about buying a mattress online and the returns policy.
The simple answer is, yes, of course, you can!
We have a much loved 60 day love it or return it guarantee on all of our beds alongside our free mattress advice service. If you buy a mattress from us after taking advice and then find you're not getting on with it, in 60 days, you can either exchange for a different model or request a full refund. We don't charge hidden fees like other mattress retailers for collections. We have a 99% success rate based on our advice service and those 1% that use the love it or return it nearly always exchange for another model. A testament to our advice service.
If you want to exchange then we can advise on another model.
If it's cheaper we refund the difference.
If it's more expensive we ask you to cover the difference.
No additional delivery charges. Simple!
Online Mattress Guarantees:
We always advise heavily scrutinising any mattress retailers guarantee to avoid hidden charges or gotchas. (We've written a full guide here on some of the more dubious mattress guarantees) Some examples of the leading retailers' hidden nasties are:
- £250 collection charge for a return
- Only being able to exchange for the same amount (even if a cheaper bed is picked you dont get the difference back)
- Having to have kept the bed in it's original packaging (ie making it impossible to sleep on)
