Looking for a kingsize zip and link mattress for 12st and 22st
Do you do a zip link mattress for a 12st wanting a medium support and a 22st wanting an extra firm support
Hi Carolyn,
Thank you for your question. It is important to get the correct support for each sleeper which is provided by the pocket springs in a traditional mattress. We would recommend a dual spring tension for you given your body weights. The medium spring tension supports body weights up to 17 stone depending on your height and the firm spring tension within our Artisan range will support body weights up to 23 stone, also depending on height. We do not offer extra firm spring tension.
Bodyweight | Spring tension |
---|---|
Upto 16 Stone / 50-101kg | Medium (1.4mm) |
16 Stone / 101kg Upwards | Firm (1.6mm) |
Available in Bespoke Products (Please Call) | Soft (1.2mm) |
The comfort layers on top of the springs determine how the mattress feels. You should consider your sleep positions and comfort preferences to determine which model would be the most suitable for you. We do not recommend firm upholstery layers for side sleepers as this can cause pressure pains in the shoulders and hips. Likewise, we do not recommend soft upholstery layers for front and back sleepers as sinking in too much in these positions can cause lower back and neck pain. If you are a combination of any of these sleep positions, we recommend a medium level of comfort, such as our most popular mattress the Artisan Naturals, which has cushioning in the top layers and more supportive underneath.
All of the mattresses in our Artisan range are available with a dual spring tension in either a zip and link or one piece mattress in kingsize and above.
I hope this helps and if you would like any further information or would like to discuss your individual needs, please do not hesitate to contact our small friendly team on 0161 437 4419.
Kind Regards
Michaela
