Which Mattres topper for made.com haru sofabed?
I have a made.com haru sofa bed (small dbl size). It's very formal to sleep on. What mattress topper would work best remembering I have to ideally store it between uses? Thanks
Hi Fi,
Thank you for your question. The foams used in sofas usually have a higher density than that of mattresses. The foam within the sofa has to support you whilst you are sitting, meaning your body weight is concentrated into a smaller area than it is when you are lying down.
For sofabeds, this foam can be too firm, especially for side sleepers, when lying on the high-density foam. We usually recommend a mattress topper that complements the fibres within your mattress, however, a foam mattress topper can be very difficult to store when not in use. If you have a spare duvet, try putting this under your sheet. If this is quite comfortable, a 5cm micro fibre mattress topper would be suitable. If this helps, but only a little, you may require a thicker mattress topper. A micro fibre mattress topper can be stored in a vacuum-sealed bag when not in use. This type of storage takes up a lot less room than a standard bag.
I hope this helps and if you would like any further information, please do not hesitate to contact the office on 0161 437 4419.
Kind Regards
Michaela
