Thank you for your question. All bases larger than a single size—which measures 90 cm in width and 190 cm in length—are designed to arrive in two separate pieces. This design consideration is primarily for ease of access, especially in navigating through doorways and tight spaces during setup.

Please note that the headboard and footboard are sold separately.

When it comes to double sizes, our bases feature an east to west divide, which allows for better handling and movement. In the case of our Contemporary platform base, the kingsize variant also maintains this east to west divide, ensuring a streamlined assembly process. However, for those who opt for the Artisan pocket sprung base, which is designed to cushion the mattress, it’s important to note that this particular model is divided north to south, accommodating a different structural design and offering unique support features.

Please note that the Origins Base and the Ottoman Base have been discontinued.

For larger configurations, such as super kingsize and zip and link beds, these are also divided north to south. This division ensures that each section can be easily managed.
