Some questions in regards to the Latex 100% Natural Topper

Hi there,

I hope this finds you well.

I have some questions in regards to the “Latex 100% Natural Topper”.

I can see that the description mentions that the density level of the topper is 70D and has a thickness of 5cm, however please could you confirm the firmness level (ILD)?

Furthermore, could you enlighten me on whether the topper itself has any zoned support at all? i.e. for pressure relief, e.g. firmer at the hip zone, slightly softer at the shoulders etc.

Also, how does your 100% natural Latex compare to a 100% natural Dunlop Latex overall?

Lastly, based on the information on your website, am I correct to assume that the topper meets all UK Safety Stanards and Fire Safety Standards?

Thank you in advance. I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind Regards,

Poonrit

Hi Poonrit,

Thank you for your question regarding the 100% Natural Latex Topper.

This topper utilises 100% natural Dunlop latex. Dunlop and Talalay are different methods of turning the rubber liquid into a solid foam. Dunlop is denser, giving it a firmer feel, whilst Talalay latex is softer. Our mattress topper has a medium density of 70kg, which will provide an overall medium level of comfort. This is even across the whole topper as there are no zoned areas. This topper will only soften a firm mattress; if you have a soft mattress, it will make it feel firmer.

The purpose of a mattress topper is to provide additional comfort layers and a softer overall feel than the mattress provides. We always recommend a mattress topper that complements the construction of the mattress. For instance, if you have a fibre filled mattress, then we recommend a fibre filled mattress topper. This is so that the topper doesn't change the overall feel of the mattress but provides a soft cushioning layer.

All of our products comply with British fire safety regulations. With Latex, we use a 1cm layer of graphite FR latex on each side to ensure the mattress complies with regulations under BS 5852 to the crib test carried out by FIRA.

Please note that our mattress toppers are not covered under the 60 day love it or return it guarantee. This means that a mattress topper can not be returned if you do not like the feel of it.

I hope this helps and if you would like any further information, please do not hesitate to contact the office on 0161 437 4419.

Kind Regards

Michaela
