About John Lewis mattresses
Hello,
I am interested in your naturals range and in particular the SKS zip link and the slightly cheaper £1300 version. I have spoken with some very helpful people on your office and discounted a latex option. I have been looking the sales and come across the below.
I have spoken with some very helpful people on your office and discounted a latex option. I have been looking the sales and come across the below John Lewis option however I am not sure it compares as well to what you have to offer as it doesnt't details the weight of the material etc. The model is the john lewis natural collection cotton 4000 zip link mattress super kingsize.
Do you have any experience with JL mattresses?
I am also concerned that the mattress may not accommodate the lighter body weight (8st).
Thanks Laura
Hi Laura,
I am sorry, but as you state, they do not provide any specific GSM (grams per square metre) information and these mattresses are made for John Lewis by Harrisons. Knowing the GSM is the only way to accurately compare mattresses like for like. Without it, you really are just guessing. You could always try contacting John Lewis direct to ask for the technical specifications sheet. Though we know most manufacturers won't supply you with this as it, you guessed it, enables you to compare!
Harrisons do not provide such information for any of their mattresses, which makes any form of comparison impossible. You can read more on how to compare mattresses here which may help you know what to look out for.
I would say, however, that you should not get taken in by the offering of 4000 springs as this includes at least half those in layers of mini springs.

In the circumstances, I would suggest that you call our office on 0161 437 4419 before placing your order with us to provide any remaining answers to your questions.
Kind regards Mike.
