Our Artisan Bespoke 002 is comparable in feel to the Vi-Spring Tiara Superb and has slightly more in terms of upholstery layers.

It can be purchased in a super king size zip and link set and given you current body weights, I would suggest a medium tension spring. Zip and Link's are ideal where a one-piece mattress won't fit the property, where you might struggle to flip a one-piece mattress or where one user tends to disturb the other.

 

Vi-Spring are renowned for producing a quality product, although quite highly priced, whereas our Artisan range has similar quality for a lower price tag.

 

If you opt for a bed frame instead of a divan, it is likely to have slats upon which to place the mattress.

 

These will either be solid or sprung, if solid, the feel of any mattress will be firmer, if sprung the feel will be slightly softer and similar to that of a sprung divan base.

 

It really depends upon what level of comfort you require.

 

As far as divan bases are concerned, there is no compromise in respect of performance, although, with our Artisan range, the bases are true edge sprung, as opposed to a basic platform top, providing a forgiving surface for the mattress to rest upon.
