Dear John and Ryan, I have become a very old and sad mattress hunter, I have been umming and erring for months now over which one to buy!

I visited the bedsheds once and was totally convinced they do not have a clue what they are talking about!

I found another online site like yours which gives great advice but always seems to point towards memory foam and pocket springs but being a sensitive soul sleeping on chemicals does not appeal to me !!!

so I have had advice from you , my budget started at around 600 but I was coveting your Artisan range especially after reading the feedback on them so I cancelled the family Christmas and summer holidays and am going for the Artisan Natural. I see you recommend getting a topper for the mattress so I have got this one http://www.duvetandpillowwarehouse.co.uk/product/Toppers/Range/Ultimate-Wool-Fleece/Size/King do you think this will be ok on the artisan mattress ?

I have a original Victorian cast iron bed (king size) with a sprung support resting between the two side slats, this has a metal mesh covering the springs and this also has small tensioning springs on the sides, will this be suitable for the Artisan matress?

I am 6'2" and 13st and my wife is 5'8" and about 10st, I have severe back and neck pain and my current good mattress has collapsed. If I don't get this mattress soon I think I will be traded in for a younger and fitter model !!
