Dear John and Ryan, Just stumbled across your website and what a breath of fresh air it is!!

Just a shame more companies can't do the same!

Anyway I'd like some advice on buying a mattress. At the moment I have a Kng-size Manor Ortho mattress, open coil range from Sprung Slumber which sits on a solid mahogany wood slatted base. I'm not looking to change the bed as I figure its the mattress that's the problem not the bed frame. I weigh about 11stone and am 5'8. I sleep on my own as I lost my husband last year and I'm quite nervous of spending a lot of money without being able to obtain some genuine advice (which you seem to offer!) but I really need a comfortable mattress as the one I have is anything but!

I'm looking to spend between £500 and £800 though i would stretch a little further if you thought I would benefit more - after all we do spend a long time in bed and I'm fed up of waking with lower back ache!

Looking forward to hearing from you. Regards Ann .

Hi Ann.

A mattress i would recommend out of our range is the Origins Pocket 1500 mattress, this mattress offers a medium ie not to soft not to firm. I think this mattress would suit you better as i suspect your current mattress is giving you your back ache, as it is an ortho mattress and this would not be recommended at your body weight.

Hope this helps. if you require further assistance call the office on 0161 437 4419

John and Ryan.
