Bedbase - can it be dismantled?

I have bought an ottoman style (storage underneath the full bed) super king size bed frame with headboard from you. I am thinking about moving the bed - can the bedbase frame be dismantled and then put back together? Or is that once the bed has been put together it has to then be moved as is in one piece?

Thank you for your question.
Our Ottoman bases come as two halves that connect together using a join bar. Therefore you will be able to remove the join bar and detach the headboard, however we would not recommend unfixing the gas struts as these can be difficult to reassemble correctly.

It is best that you move the base as two separate halves and then reconnect them using the join bar and reattach your headboard once you have moved it to your desired destination.
