Broken back which mattress

I broke my back in November so painful seems nothing to be done. So bought old caravan for retreat. The bed makes me unable to walk so need new one but not sure what to get with limited budget.
Had to come home from first break due to being in agony

Hi Beverley,
I would have normally suggested that you look at buying a latex or hybrid foam mattress to replace your current one, however, I note you are restricted by budget. In that case, it may be worth looking into obtaining a natural fibre topper to provide you with comfort. I trust that this helps.
