Do the Clearance mattresses have the same guarantee as a full price mattresses?
I am considering purchasing a B grade origins pocket 1500 from the outlet section. Do the outlet mattresses come with a full guarantee? Does a mattress protector need to be purchased from you at the same time as the order should we wish to return the mattress if it turns out to not be a good fit, or can our own mattress protector be used?
Many thanks.
Hi Dan
Thanks for contacting us regarding the Origins Pocket 1500 located within our Clearance Range.
Our customers take great care of our products and we are delighted that most are returned in pristine condition. These products will never be more than 60 days old (much less than a showroom model, in fact usually only a few days old!) In short we would like to reassure you that any mattress we offer as a clearance item will have been at a customer for less than 60 days and returned due to personal preference only.
A Grade B mattress has been discounted by 20% and returned to us under the 60 night love it or return it guarantee. It may have a slight mark on the side or corner of the mattress which will have come from delivery.
A Grade C mattress has been discounted by 40% and again returned to us under the 60 day love it or return it guarantee but will definitely have marks on the corners or sides and may have a small tear.
If the mattress has these marks/tear, this is not detrimental to the mattress and will not cause any issues with it. The Origins Pocket 1500 is one of the most popular mattresses that we sell and is a traditional tufted mattress and provides the sleeper with an overall medium level of comfort and support. However you need to ensure that when choosing a new mattress that not only do you receive the correct level of support but also the correct level of comfort. Support is provided by the internal spring unit and this is based on heights and weights. The comfort is provided by the upholstery layers and this is usually dictated by your sleeping positions. A side sleeper may require soft or medium level of comfort which provide cushioning for shoulders and hips, a back sleeper would require medium as this will keep the spine aligned whereas a front sleeper may require something slightly firmer.
We always advise our customers to add a mattress protector in order to protect from stains etc. We do not sell mattress protectors and these can be purchased from most High Street Stores or online or you can use your own mattress protector if you already have one. The products within our Clearance Range all come with the same 60 day love it or return it guarantee. All we ask is that you add the mattress protector and sleep on it for at least 4 weeks as it takes this length of time for your body to adjust to a new mattress. I hope the above is of assistance to you however please do not hesitate to call one of our friendly team who will be able to provide further information or advice on 0161 437 4419 Kind regards Julie
