Can you explain the difference between using one or two layers of springs in the mattress and the reason to choose one or the other?

The double layer of springs such as those contained in our Artisan Bespoke 002, provide a more springy, bouncier feeling to the mattress.

The decision upon whether to choose a single layer or double one is a matter of personal preference in terms of the overall feel required. The Artisan Bespoke 004 has exactly the same levels of upholstery, but only has one layer of springs. Either a single layer or double layer can be selected in a specific tension as dictated by body weights.
