Double mattress

I weigh 8stone 12lb and my husbands weight is 13stone. My husband has suffered with a bad back for a good few years and wakes most mornings with back ache. I have also started to get some lower back pain particulary in the small of my back. We are looking for a double mattress to sit on our existing pocket sprung divan base (purchased from John Lewis) about 5 years ago.
We are considering something from your artisan range but would welcome your advice on what would suit our requirements best.

All of the mattresses in our Artisan range are usually paired with a sprung base so they would suit that part of your requirement.
As far as the most appropriate one in that range for you is concerned, I confirm that with the 4 st weight differential you would be best suited to a split tension product, soft for you and medium for your husband.

Unfortunately, the split tension products are available in the Artisan range in king size and above, so you may need to look at medium tension in a double and apply a topper to soften it for you.
