I am afraid i have no idea what type of gradings for foam and latex mattresses were being used 20 years ago, i can tell you now, that latex of 70 kg density will give a medium feel to body weights of 8 st to 14 st.

An 80 kg latex density will give a firm feel to body weights of 13 st to 16 st.
