Hate our Harrison SAPPHIRE 12700 bed

Hello, we've got a super king Sapphire 12700 Harrison bed and we hate it (it's only 1 yr ok'd). One side is soft and the other is medium. I'm about 5'5 136lbs and my hubby is 5'6 145 lbs. My husband finds the medium side good but I can't sleep on either side. The soft side is too soft and doesn't offer enough support to my lower back and hips while the medium side is great for my back but too hard for my shoulders and causing me pain. I can live with the shoulder pain but not the back pain so I choose to sleep on the medium side. My husband unfortunately now has to sleep on the soft side and he hates it! Now he has the back pain. We are both side sleepers/back sleepers and are desperate to get a decent nights rest without pain. We spent a fortune on this awful mattress so are scared that history may repeat itself and nervous customers. Please, what would you recommend for us based on the information given. We are open to all bed types. Thanking you in advance.

Hi Michele

What a disaster!

I have read and re-read your question and reading between the lines I can make a recommendation but I am having to make a couple of assumptions. It would be great to talk to you to check my understanding.

From the details that you have given me, we would obviously recommend the medium tension for you both. The mattress I would recommend would be the Artisan Luxury. The reason is that it has the softest top layers. Because you and Simon are both quite light then you will get most of your comfort from the top layers rather than the springs.

I have noted that you both like the medium tension but for you this results in sore shoulders. Sore shoulders or hips are nearly always a sign that a bed is too firm in some way. The Artisan Luxury should be a good combination of support with the medium spring and soft enough in the top layers to be comfortable.

I hope this helps. Don't forget as well that you have a 60 day comfort guarantee so you won't get stuck in this situation again.
