JRBD Bed Recommendation

Good morning,
We have visited our local bed store to try out some of the Harrison range. We've been through your range so know their exact make-p is a bit of a mystery, but just in case you know the feel of their beds, we very much liked the feel of both the Chantilly 4700 and the Boucle 3200, both in firm. We initially entered the store with the classic, we love the Premier Inn beds, but preferred both of these slightly to the Hypnos one which they told us was the Premier Inn one. We're conscious that Premier Inn don't keep their beds for 8 years, and some of the feel will likely be from the fact they are never that old. We've read that you recommend the Origins Pocket 1500 as a good alternative to this, which comes in at £1090 in a zip and link super king c/w 4 drawer base thus, we are looking a this. However, having looked at the Harrison Chantilly at being around £1800, we're happy to spend a bit more, perhaps somewhere between the two at £1400-1500. This made us think of the Artisan 1500 mattress, but by the time its paired with the 4 drawer base we're looking at £1925. Could this be paired with the cheaper platform base, or is this something you wouldn't recommend?
Having discovered yourselves we are convinced what you can offer would likely be superior to the high street brands so would like some advice on our thoughts above. For your info i'm about 5ft10 and 17st and my other half is around 5ft6 and 12st. I would note however that she did prefer the firm mattresses we tested.
Kindest regards,
Lewis

Good Morning Lewis,

Thank you for your question.

You are absolutely correct that the Premier Inn Hypnos mattress compares with our own Origins Pocket 1500 mattress.

This mattress is designed to accommodate a vast range of different body weights and as such is a great all rounder.

At the body weights provided you definitely need a dual spring tension; One half firm for yourself and the other half medium for your partner. The spring is what provides the support from inside the mattress itself.

The Artisan 1500 model is constructed from 53% natural fibres and materials and is such is cooler than the Origins range as well as generally being a bit softer.

The Artisan 1500 model itself is a medium feeling mattress in it's top layers. However, it is more towards the firmer end of the range so would suit your needs perfectly given the budget that you have.

You can absolutely pair the Artisan 1500 with the Origins Platform Base. The Origins range is our starter range but any of our mattresses can be paired with that base as quality isn't sacrificed just because it's the starter range.

Origins Divan Bases
Platform top divan - No springs
Polyester padding beneath upholstery
Fully upholstered in a range of fabric choices / colours
Black stitch bond on the underside
Soft wood frames
Drawers if chosen are 32″ wide, 20″ deep and 9″ high
Fixings for both glidea and headboard bolts

I hope that this has answered your questions fully but if you do have any further queries then please don't hesitate to contact the office on 0161 437 4419.

Kind Regards, Lee.
