M Line Hybrid 6 firm comparison mattress?

Hi, I am in the process of buying a mattress and a bed as I have just bought my first flat. I have tried a few mattresses in high street shops and the one I really like is the M Line hybrid 6 firm (king size). No one at Dreams can tell me the specs for this mattress though and the price is very high. Do you have a similar mattress to recommend? Can you please also recommend a bed for me? Slats or no slats for my ottoman bed? Thank you! P.s. I am glad I have found this website. You guys seem really knowledgable and products quality looks top notch!

The first thing to say is that the product you refer to is essentially a memory foam mattress containing pocket springs with no other layers of upholstery specified. It is not unusual to find that the people in store are unable to provide details or information as to the specification of the mattress. In addition, it is a one sided mattress, which can have an impact on it's longevity, which is a worry when it is priced as it is.
We do have our Origins Pocket Latex 1500 model this would probably be the closet this is a pocket sprung mattress with a 6cm top layer of talalay latex.

As far as a base is concerned, if you are looking for an ottoman, ours have a solid top and the use of slats can cause problems with ridging in the mattress, particularly if the mattress is double sided.
