A customer asked

I would like advice on best bed to buy.Currently have an expensive John Lewis Vi Spring bed but we cannot get a good night's sleep. We roll together too much and I sweat.

I weigh 17 stone and my wife 12 1/2 stone.Any suggestions.We are pensioners

Hi John,

Thank you for your enquiry.  At your body weight we would pair you with a firm spring tension and a medium spring tension for your wife.  The spring tension is based solely on your body weight to give you the correct level of support.  As you will need two different spring tensions we can do a dual spring tension one piece mattress in our Artisan range in king size and above.  Having said that, because you are experiencing roll together you would benefit from the zip and link option, also available in king size and above.

Bodyweight Spring tension
Upto 16 Stone / 50-101kg Medium (1.4mm)
16 Stone / 101kg Upwards Firm (1.6mm)
Available in Bespoke Products (Please Call) Soft (1.2mm)

Before I can advise you on a replacement mattress I would need to know your comfort preferences and sleeping habits to determine which of our models would be the most suitable for you.  If you would like to ring the office on 0161 437 4419 with this information, one of our friendly team will be happy to help.

Kind Regards
