Mattress choice for current bed base

Any of our mattresses can be used on your base, however, if the area the mattress rests on is made of slats, you will need to place some form of barrier, usually in the form of thin (3-5mm) MDF sheeting if the slats are more than 3 inches apart, or an old duvet if they are closer together. This will prevent any mattress from ridging as a result of being depressed into the gaps when you sleep on it.

With your particular body weights, a split tension mattress is likely to be more appropriate, soft for you and medium for your husband. Please view the products in our Artisan range and then call our office for more specific advice as to suitability.
