A customer asked

Good Morning Sir or Madam.

We have a King Size wooden slatted bed which is mainly used for guests.

One of our guests is asthmatic and I think the mattress we have may be causing him to have asthmatic attacks.

What type of mattress can you recommend for general comfort to replace the mattress we have and suitable for a wooden slatted bed.

Thank you.

Hi Philip,

The mattress we usually recommend from our range for general use by guests is the Origins Pocket Reflex 1000.

This is the one we usually recommend for use by bed and breakfast accommodation because it is suitable for a wide range of body weights and provides great support and comfort for a reasonable price.

If using this on a slatted base, we would advise the inclusion of some protection between the slats and the mattress either in the form of an old duvet or some peg board.

I trust that this is of assistance to you.

Kind regards
