Thank you for your enquiry. Having looked at these mattresses today, all I can say with any certainty is that they contain natural fibres (GSM unknown) and that they have a medium feel in the upholstery layers.  Without the GSM of these mattresses, it would be impossible to compare to any other mattress.
 
The spring count doesn't explain the type of springs that have been used in this mattress, although with 8000 springs I would guess that some of them are HD springs (these little springs inflate the spring count and take up space that could be used for additional comfort layers and do not offer much in the way of support).  The spring tension for the correct level of support is based solely on an individuals body weight.
