Problems with Dreams mattress

Hello!

I am so happy to have found your website, I think its just what we have been looking for!

We bought a superking therapure mattress from dreams nearly 2 years ago which we have had endless problems with. Mainly it doesn't remember to go back to its original position & it has sagged in the middle, which is giving us terrible back trouble. Dreams have been useless & don't want to know, despite us paying £1200 for it :( Having seen your website I think a zip link would be ideal for us, also we slept on an Austrian twin when on holiday & it was great. I think think the problem is I weigh 9 stone & my husband is 18stone!

We both sleep on our sides and I would be grateful for any advice on the type of mattress which would suit us. We're pretty lost as to what would be best, sprung/memory foam & would love a good nights sleep!

I look forward to your reply!

Hi Liz.

As you have probably read countless times throughout this site we are not keen advocates of any kind of Memory Foam mattress.

You are right to deduce that the weight difference between your husband and yourself should be a primary consideration of your choice - Obviously pocket springs should be the support and the comfort layers should be more than polyester.

Read through our description of our Artisan Naturals.

This model can be made with two different tension springs soft for you and Firm for your husband.

(this mix is only available on the Zip link models) on a one piece, you will be tied to dual spring tension - medium for you and firm for your husband.

Bodyweight Spring tension
Upto 16 Stone / 50-101kg Medium (1.4mm)
16 Stone / 101kg Upwards Firm (1.6mm)
Available in Bespoke Products (Please Call) Soft (1.2mm)

I’m rather a small man , but recently my back pain is becoming a nightmare
My Sister in America kindly treated me to a Dreams bedset
The motor never returned to Set positions ,so I’ve detached the Electricity from the bed !
I’ve had full body scans from hospital showing that it’s mostly clear given the FACT I’m 74 years old
I don’t like to complain as it was a gift 🎁 from my Elder sister
But here I am at 2 AM , with another post night’s sleep in pain
I have had the mattress changed over as the manuel reccomends
Keep you informed as requested

Hi Robert,

Thank you for your comment. We are sorry to hear that you are not getting a good night’s sleep on your Dreams mattress.

How old is the mattress? It may be benefical to contact Dreams to see if they can offer you any advice regarding your mattress. It would be appropriate to keep Dreams informed of your progress with the mattress.

If the mattress is too firm for you, adding a separate mattress topper may provide you with a more comfortable night’s sleep.

I hope this helps and if you would like any further information or would like to discuss your individual needs, please do not hesitate to contact the office on 0161 437 4419.

Kind Regards
Michaela
