As you tend to overheat when sleeping on your existing foam mattress, I would recommend a mattress from our Artisan Range which are mattresses which contain natural fillings therefore providing a cooler sleeping surface.
 
One mattress in particular springs to mind due to the fact that you require a mattress that will allow your shoulders to sink in so as to avoid pressure point pain specially as you have recently had surgery on your shoulder.
 
We have developed a new mattress which is in our Artisan Range and is the Artisan Latex.  This mattress is a plant based natural fibre mattress which contains cotton latex flax and coir.   It is a two sided mattress and has a chemical free damask cover.   This mattress sits between our Artisan Naturals and Artisan 1500 in terms of the fact that it has an overall medium feel but is softer than our Fusion Latex mattresses.   The mattress contains springs/">calico encased pocket springs which is one of the best spring units you can have in a mattress due to the fact that it is extremely breathable. I would recommend a medium spring tension for your body weight as this will give you the correct support. The comfort layers are responsive to the sleeper wanting a cushioning sink before the 1500 Pocket spring unit provides that support.

If you would prefer a mattress that that is much softer in the top comfort layers but again with good support, I would also recommend looking at our Artisan Luxury.  This mattress is the softest mattress that we make and contains 100% natural fillings which gives a cooler sleeping surface.  I would still recommend a medium spring tension to give you the correct support for your body weight.
