Thank you for your question. The mattresses that are returned to us under the 60 day love it or return it guarantee are inspected and graded according to their condition. A grade B mattress might have a few marks or scuffs on the side from transit and courier handling, and is discounted in our clearance section by 20%. A grade C mattress may have a few marks or scuffs on the side from transit and courier handling, and may also have a small tear, these are discounted by 40%. There would be nothing that is detrimental to the mattress, all marks and even a tear would be cosmetic.

All of our mattresses, with the exception of bespoke sizes, are covered under the 60 day love it or return it guarantee. We do ask that you use a mattress protector and give the mattress a good month or so, as it can take 4 to 6 weeks for your body to adjust to the new mattress. If, after this time, you are not getting along with the mattress, you can either send it back and we will refund you the cost of your mattress, or we can do a one time exchange to another mattress, depending on how you found the first one. You would then get a 60 day love it or return it guarantee with the second mattress, which you can return for a full refund if you do not find it comfortable. This applies to our clearance mattresses as well as the ones that are handmade to order.

When looking for a new mattress, you need to consider your height and weight to ensure that you receive the correct level of support from the pocket springs, as well as your sleep positions and comfort preferences to determine which level of comfort from the upholstery layers would be best.
