Shallow mattress recommendations for front and side sleeper

Sam

Which mattress would you recommend for an average weight restless front and/or side sleeper? I don't like sinking deep into a mattress as I do toss and turn.
I have a 1.5 m high loft bed with maximum permitted mattress depth of 20 cm.
I currently have a 14 cm firm memory foam, which I now find a fraction too hard (it's 8 years old now), and would like something with a bit more bounce. I don't know if medium would be a step too far, or if medium firm would be better.
I've seen a couple of possibilities on your site, but would appreciate an expert opinion, based on your knowledge of the products.
Many thanks.

Hi Sam,

Thank you for your enquiry.

The limitation on height of the mattress imposes a restriction on the type of mattress you can select. The quality of pocket sprung mattresses which are less than 20cm in depth is suspect as the reduced height will limit the level of upholstery than can be used.

Your only option would be to look at a latex or hybrid foam mattress. The Fusion 5 is 18cm deep and will provide an overall medium feel for you, although without knowledge of your body weight it is impossible to confirm that this feel will be appropriate.

We trust that the above is of help, but if you require any further advice or guidance, please call our office on 0161 437 4419 and speak with one of our Advisors.

Kind regards Julie
