We have viewed the details of the Silentnight product you refer to and confirm that aside from it stating it has 2800 springs and a layer of memory foam, there is very little further information provided. We are unable to provide an opinion as to the quality or performance of this product or to advise whether it is suitable for you because of the lack of detail. What we can say is that in a normal king size product, 1000 springs are usually sufficient to provide support for people of average body weights i.e. 10 -17st. We note that you have provided your body weights in a separate e-mail and as such, would confirm that the Origins Pocket 1500 selected with the firmer 2000 springs is likely to provide the right level of support for you both. Having said that, you partner is in the medium spring tension bracket, so you may wish to opt for a zip and link set with one 1500, for your partner and one 2000 for you.
