Hi both, looking for a single divan (?) for my father. He is 96 and complains that his current bed is too hard. It has a hard base and admittedly the mattress wasn't particularly well chosen, but as he hasn't got much flesh on his bones he is looking for comfort and a decent nights sleep in his twilight years! I have tried researching and would like your advice on whether to go with a sprung base and pocket sprung mattress? I really would like my dad to have a lovely comfortable bed. Many thanks.
