Single mattress for a heavy sleeper
I need a new single, 3', mattress, my current one now far too old and uncomfortable. I am heavy (16 St) and a side sleeper. I generally find hotel beds, for instance, much too hard (probably, it seems, because I do sleep on my side, although I like to lie on my back when reading in bed.) So, I like the sound of latex - particularly from the heat point of view - from what I've read, as opposed to memory foam. What combination of materials - or a specific mattress - would you recommend. I do not have a large budget.
Thank you.
Hi Gail,
It is imperative, when purchasing a new mattress, that you opt for not only comfort but support as well. We do sell some latex and hybrid foam mattresses and with your specific requirements, I would suggest that you look at either our Hybrid 5 or Fusion 4, both of which will accommodate your side sleeping and occasional lying on your back. These are only available in our outlet at the moment due to being unable to source the right quality materials.
Alternatively, you could opt for a pocket sprung mattress, see this site for details and I would ask that, once you have had a chance to look at both sites, you call our office to obtain more specific advice as to the suitability of your choice.
If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to contact the office on 0161 437 4419
Kind regards.
