Thinking about a latex mattress

I currently have a sensaform Sirius mattress. I really like the feel of this mattress but I'm now starting to have hot sweats at night. Would a latex mattress or other type of foam mattress be cooler? I weight just over 10 stone and I'm 5ft 2. My bed base is slatted pine but I have had ply board fitted over the slats. Many thanks

Hi Dawn,

Thank you for your enquiry.

We have not been able to find a full specification for your current mattress, however, all the current models made by Sensafoam comprise pocket springs and memory foam, the latter of which is renowned for heat retention/generation, which make them totally unsuitable if you suffer from night sweats.

Latex and hybrid foams provide a cooler sleep and we would suggest that you view the Fusion 3 and the Hybrid 4, both of which will provide you with a medium feel with your body weight. Both these products have a separate topper, providing that extra layer of comfort.

Both can also be used on your boarded slatted base.

We trust that this helps, but if you require any further advice or guidance, please call our office on 0161 437 4419 and speak with one of our Advisor's.

Kind Regards, John and Ryan.
