Vi Spring Tiara Comparison?
We're looking for a new bed after coming back from a Cornish hotel with the most comfiest bed we'd ever slept in - it was so soft you just melted into it - after stripping back the sheets I found that it was a vi Spring zip & link bed- soon as we got home went off to furniture world to try there range of vi Spring mattresses- the one that we liked the best was £7000!- seems a massive amount of money - could you offer any advise or alternatives- got a tempur matress at the moment - which is like lying on a brick!!!
Hi Tricia,
I love that part of the country, lovely scenery, food, and beer! :-) I'm glad the hotel had such a good mattress.
I'm guessing the model you are looking at was the Vi-Spring Tiara? If so please have a look at our Artisan Bespoke 003. 100% Natural fibre and a highly progressive dual ‘twin up’ layer of calico springs. Layered with Alpaca, Bamboo and Coir in its support and comfort layers it provides a cool sleep surface along with Wool, Cotton and Horsetail. These naturally breathable fibres will help regulate your body temperature, keeping you warmer in winter and cooler in summer. It's a softer end of medium feel mattress in the top layers and the Coir Coconut fiber helps reduce the 'bounce' of the two layers of springs.
We have an article here which compares the feels of our range to the Vi-spring range. Just bear in mind if you're looking at pure wool mattresses, as in the upholstery is all wool, these are subject to noticeable settlement and compression. That's why we use horsehair/tail layers to prevent this. Whilst wool is super soft it does tend to flatten quickly if not designed correctly in a mattress layer.
