Which mattress for Fibromalgia sufferer?

A customer asked

Hi, I have fibromyalgia and sleep in a kingsize alone as I need room to move around.

I have been suffering with my current mattress in the last year or so as it has two large dips where my husband and I used to sleep together.

I love a soft, "sinking feeling" mattress as comfort is hard to find when you have chronic pain so I like a bit of a luxury feel to my bed.

Budget is not huge, but I am happy to find enough money for a "dream" mattress, so please can you suggest the cheapest mattress that meets my requirements.

I weigh around 14 1/2 stone.

Please help!!

Hi Katie,

Thank you for your enquiry via our website.  At your body weight, we would pair you with a medium spring tension to give you the correct level of support.

Bodyweight Spring tension
Upto 16 Stone / 50-101kg Medium (1.4mm)
16 Stone / 101kg Upwards Firm (1.6mm)
Available in Bespoke Products (Please Call) Soft (1.2mm)

If you love that sink in feeling the Origins Comfort 1000 would be ideal, which is the softest mattress we do in this range, using different densities of polyester in the comfort layer.  If your budget can stretch to it, the Artisan Luxury is as its name implies, our softest 100% natural fibre mattress with incredibly deep sinking layers.

If you would like to discuss the suitability of either of these mattresses please do not hesitate to contact the office on 0161 437 4419.

Kind Regards
