Will a zip & link Origins Pocket 1500/2000 do, 23 st and 14 st?

Hi, as the title says.
We have a king size bed, we are after a new mattress. I prefer a firmer feel. Partner prefers a less medium/firm feel.
Would a Origins Pocket 1500 with Medium/Firm split be the right choice for us? I can just about spread my budget to that. Ideally wanted to spend less, but get what you pay for.
If we got this. Would 1 mattress be 2000 pocket springs and the other be 1500 pocket springs?
