Our bedbases and bedframes are compatible with all mattress types from Pocket sprung mattresses, Natural Fibre Beds, Latex and Hybrid mattress models.

The best type of mattress base is one that is well made, supportive but also allows your mattress to provide the very best nights sleep. Not all bed bases are suitable for mattresses. With slatted bases and some cheaper metal bed frames causing damage to your mattress. So it’s really important that you choose the right type of bed base or divan for your mattress.

There are 2 main types of bed base that are suitable for all mattress types:

Platform top divans (no pocket springs)
Sprung edge or True Edge divans (with pocket springs for extra comfort)

A sprung edge divan is the very best mattress base you can buy because it provides additional progressive support for your mattress. Sprung edge bases can extend the life of your mattress and provide that luxury hotel style sleep. If your budget allows then a sprung edge divan will turn your good mattress into an excellent mattress.

We offer Luxury Divan Bases that can be sprung or made as a solid platform top. We also offer a range of exquisite Bedframes in over 22 luxury fabrics.
