Why is this mattress so cheap?

I can give you a little insight into this kind of mattress.  The mattress you have seen is a one sided no turn mattress meaning it has some form of pocket sprung unit that only has one comfort layer on top usually either reflex foam or some polyester combination.

Given its tension it will be a firm solid bed with more than likely reflex foam as the only comfort layer.  It’s a bargain for its price, if you want a firm bed.

I would also estimate its life span is far less than the 5 year guarantee. After all you only have one side to this firm mattress.

I could not find any details on what the guarantee covers, I would assume its heavily caveated.  That said this is all speculation as its description is very vague.
