A customer asked

Good Evening Firstly your website is excellent and also an education, my wife and I are looking for a 4 foot mattress for our daughter who is 3 in December and have just started looking.

Please note we are in no immediate rush, so please don't feel rushed to reply immediately.

She is currently in a cot bed and instead of going straight to a single bed, then a few years down the line changing again to a 4 foot bed, we want to get her a good quality long lasting mattress, which hopefully will be a forever bed.

We went to Benson Beds over the weekend just to get an idea and the 'Royal Crown Ortho' mattress fitted our brief, its pocket sprung, (we want minimum 1000 PS), and it's firm, the mattress is £349.99 after the usual sale nonsense, it seems good for our daughter.

On returning home and seeing your website to compare, if it's okay with you we would like to know what are the benefits of the 'Origins Pocket Reflex 1000' in comparison to the BB one.

I have also come across 'Signature Mayfair 1500 firm pocket sprung mattress' on Sleeplands beds for £289.00.

Between all 3 mattresses I can't see a lot of difference, hence this e-mail, however I'm personally leaning towards your 'Origins Pocket reflex bed'.

I also looked at your 'Sequence Pocket Suspension' at £425, as I mentioned we are looking for a forever bed.

Our budget is around £500 including a divan base.

But a 3 year old may not appreciate the extra quality of the 'Sequence Pocket Suspension' mattress.

You're in-valuable comments will be most appreciated, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards.

Hi Ashley.

I would say the Origins Comfort will be the best choice for a three year old.

This will see her out by the time she is in her teens.

I cant see any intrinsic detail for the mattresses you refer to so unable to say with authority which one offers the best value for money.

John and Ryan.
