Hi Me and the Mrs are currently looking to replace our 10 year old pocket spring mattress. Both the Mrs and myself have started experiencing shoulder pain when we wake up in the morning. In my case i have also started experiencing some lower back pain on waking up. The mattress has also started sagging on my end. Based on this evidence we have decided that its time to replace our mattress. I am 5 feet 7 inches tall and weigh about 12.1 stone. The Mrs is 5 feet tall and weighs about 8.2 stone. We value comfort above all else and are willing to pay for it( within reason of course. ) . I fear that my lower back pain might become a bit chronic as I get older ( early 40s currently ) so would like a mattress that helps me there. While researching, came across your wonderful website but to be honest am feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the information!

Polyester, wool, memory foam, latex, all these with or without coiled springs... The combinations seem endless. I was hoping that based on my requirements described above, you would be able to suggest the right kind of mattress that would not only last and also provide us a decent night's sleep every night.
