Thank you for your enquiry on our website.  The question that we get asked a lot about is varying weights and mattresses!  With the body weights you have supplied, you would be paired with a  firm spring tension whilst your wife requires a soft spring to give you both the correct level of support.  This is achievable the zip and link option, available in King Size and above and can only be done in our Pocket Sprung ranges (Origins and Artisan).  Zip and Link’s are ideal when there is a weight difference and one spring tension will not cover both sleeping partners, where access into the room of your choice is restricted and where one user tends to disturb the other.

The Artisan Bespoke 002 has two rows of springs which creates more bounce.  This has been reduced in the Artisan 003 with coir coconut fibre.  With the correct spring tension, the upholstery is dictated by personal preferences and sleeping habits although any model you chose will feel softer in the comfort layers for yourself as a heavier sleeper.
