Suitable comparison for Harrisons mattress

A customer asked

Hi We're looking to replace our old ( 2006 ) Harrison Poppy 2400 double mattress for something similar. Medium tension. Was double sided, cotton & wool for different seasons. Bought from Dreams. Excellent quality & super comfy just need a bigger version. Apparently Harrison don't supply to Dreams any more. Need a super king size. Looking at John Lewis Comfort 4000 as I've read they are made by Harrison's. Would like natural fillings but can't get much info on the JL materials. Do you have anything comparable to our old mattress?

Many thanks

Hi Lorraine,

Thanks for your question.

Unfortunately, Harrisons, like most retailers, do not disclose the details of the fillings used either in their range or the range they make for John Lewis and this makes providing a comparison impossible.

I note that you have not indicated your body weights, preferred feel or budget, which again make a recommendation difficult. Please see below for our weight vs spring tension guidelines;

Bodyweight Spring tension
Upto 16 Stone / 50-101kg Medium (1.4mm)
16 Stone / 101kg Upwards Firm (1.6mm)
Available in Bespoke Products (Please Call) Soft (1.2mm)

Please have a look at our Artisan range of mattresses, which are comprised of natural fillings and are pocket sprung.

Once you have viewed the options available, please contact our office on 0161 437 4419 for further more specific advice as to the suitability of your choice.

I hope that this helps but don't hesitate to contact us with any more queries.

Kind Regards, John and Ryan.
