A customer asked

Hi
I'm looking to purchase 2 king size mattresses. One is for my husband and I, he is 6'1" and 12 1/2 stone and I am 5'8" and 10 stone. We currently have a firm mattress which was recommended as he has lower back problems but we both find it very uncomfortable and both wake up with numb arms and fingers. One is for my son who is 5'10" and 9.9 stone. I am happy to pay up to around £1100 for each mattress. I have looked at your latex mattresses but think I would prefer a traditional. Please could you recommend.

Hi Julia,

Thank you for your enquiry via our website.  From what you have said I am sure it is the firmness of your current mattress that is causing your aches and pains. For people of your body weights, we would normally recommend a medium tension mattress. This would also apply to your son.

Bodyweight Spring tension
Upto 16 Stone / 50-101kg Medium (1.4mm)
16 Stone / 101kg Upwards Firm (1.6mm)
Available in Bespoke Products (Please Call) Soft (1.2mm)

Please view the details of our Artisan Tailored Pocket 2000.  This mattress has a medium feel in the upholstery which is made up of 85% natural fibres and two rows of quality spun bonded springs that you can select a medium spring tension to give you the correct level of support. A king size in this mattress will cost £1120.
