A customer asked

Hello
Do you sell 140 x 200cm mattresses? If so - what is the lead in time?
Also - my friend says you can't really feel the difference between a 1000 and a 1200 pocket sprung mattress. Is this the case?
Thanks
Lucy

Hi Lucy,

Thanks for your question.

The size of mattress you are referring to is not standard and is 1 inch wider and 3 inches longer than a standard double.

This can be made in our Artisan range, but because it is a bespoke size it incurs an additional charge of 20% and does not come with our 60 day love it or return it guarantee.

Perhaps, it may be worth considering the standard double, which is available throughout our ranges.

Mattress Size Dimensions
Small Single 2’ 6” x 6’3” (80cm x 190cm)
Single 3′ x 6’3″ (90cm x 190cm)
Small Double 4″ x 6’3 (120cm x 190cm)
Double 4’6″ x 6’3″ (135cm x 190cm)
Continental Double 4’7” x 6’6” (140cm x 200cm)
King 5′ x 6’6″ (150cm x 200cm)
Continental King 5’3″ x 6’6″ (160cm x 200cm)
Extra King 6’0 x 6’3 (182cm x 190cm)
Super King 6′ x 6’6″ (180cm x 200cm)

As far as the spring count is concerned, in a standard king size, 1000 are usually sufficient to provide support for people of average body weights and unless you are an expert you are unlikely to able to discern the difference between 1000 and 1200 springs.

I trust that this assists you but if you have any further queries please don't hesitate to contact our office on 0161 437 4419.

Kind Regards, Mike.
