We have viewed the details of the Sealy product you refer to and the first thing to note is that it is what is known as a pillow top mattress, which we do not recommend. Secondly, it states that it contains latex and this is specified as Innergetic which is a brand name of Latexco, but it does not describe what method of construction is used. The Origins Pocket Latex 1500 contains Talalay latex, which is described in the link provided and it is not a pillow top mattress.

There are no details of the upholstery used save to say that it contains Sealy smart fibres and tencel fibres, although there is no indication of the levels of either contained in the product. You will note that the description of the Origins Pocket Latex 1500 full details of the upholstery in terms of GSM are provided. Because both products are fundamentally different in terms of construction, it is not possible to provide an opinion as to the quality and performance of the Sealy product, nor can it be compared to the Origins model in terms of feel and comfort. The only similarity is that both are latex mattresses containing pocket springs. We do have a range of latex mattresses without pocket springs and these are in our Fusion range, which may be of interest to you and one of those products is one of the best sellers referred to at the bottom of this response.
