Slatted base/mattress

All of our pocket sprung mattresses can be used on a slatted bedstead, however, we would always advocate placing some form of barrier, usually thin (3-5mm) MDF between the mattress and the slats. This will prevent ridging occurring as a result of the mattress dipping into the gaps between the slats.

As far as making a specific recommendation for you is concerned, it is difficult for us to do so without knowledge of your budget.

Having said that, please view our Origins Pocket 1500 and the Artisan Naturals.

The Origins has a fixed medium spring unit and man made upholstery providing an overall medium feel.

The Naturals has natural upholstery and can have the spring tension selected as soft, medium or firm as required.
