Kathryn elton

Hello we are looking for a new king sized mattress and struggling what to go for. We have a Sealy posturpedic with a memory foam pillow at the moment.
My husband is is 6'3" and 17 stone, who sleeps mainly on his back and I am 5'6" and 10.5 stone, and prefer to sleep on my right side but I have lower back and shoulder problems. Heat has become a majorly issue with the memory foam for me so a replacement is needed.
We have looked at the sealy range but have become so confused as to what to purchase. Any suggestions?
Even though you have the 60 day return policy is there ant where we can go to try out any of your mattress's in the East Midlands area.

Hi Kathryn,

Thank you for your enquiry.

With your particular body weights and heights, we would suggest that a medium spring tension/feel mattress would be the most appropriate. We appreciate your concerns with regard to heat generation/retention of memory foam and would advise that this is the main reason for people moving away from that type of product. None of our products can be compared to any Sealy products and this is because Sealy does not disclose full details of the construction and upholstery in terms of GSM (grams per square metre).

Artisan Bespoke 003

It is difficult to make a specific recommendation without knowledge of your budget, however, we would direct you to the best sellers in our ranges as detailed at the foot of this response. The Origins range have a standard medium spring tension, whereas the Artisan range can have the spring tension selected as soft, medium or firm to suit. The upholstery in the Origins is man-made and the in the Artisans is natural. There is an article here regarding upholstery, which you may find useful.

We are internet based only and do not have any showrooms where you can try our products. We endeavour to match the customer to the product and in 96% of cases we get that spot on which is why we are confident to offer the 60-day guarantee.

We trust that the above helps, but if you require any further advice or guidance, please call our office on 0161 437 4419.

Kind Regards.
