Advice on buying a new mattress pocket springs and foam

I would like to buy a pocket sprung mattress. However, the tufted finish is uncomfortable. Some have a memory foam too but this is unsuitable for me. My partner weighs 17 stone and I weigh 9. I need a bed that feels secure with no bounce/movement yet soft on top for comfort.

Thanks for your question. The only mattresses made with no tufts on top are those that contain foam and latex in the top upholstery layers.
I would recommend that you take a look at the Origins Pocket Latex 1500 mattress in our range, this is one-sided, with a latex top layer, which is much cooler than any memory foam product, and also much more responsive to movement.
