I am looking for a new mattress to help with hip pain?

I am 5ft 4 and 11 stone my husband is 5ft 4 and 10 stone, I have hip pain and knee pain. Our bed base is sprung slats and we have a tempur mattress at present which is now about 14 years old and past its best for support. After trying out a few mattresses in stores we are not sure weather to look at foam or pocket springs and after reading your site I wonder if you can help us please.
