Resilience 2 topper moves - how to stop it?
I have a Resilience 2 mattress with a latex topper (they came together as a package). The topper continually shifts down the mattress creating a void at the top that pillows fall into.
The topper is mildly smaller than the mattress, but I'd like to know - how can I stop it shifting about so much? I've tried a mattress protector but that doesn't hold it in place.
After 2 nights it's moved again. We are quite restless sleepers but need the topper as the mattress itself is a little too firm, the topper provides the give of comfort with the firmness of the mattress underneath, supporting us.
Thank you!
Hi Zoe,
Thank you for your enquiry. I can sympathise with being a restless sleeper as this is a problem I experience myself, not only do you not get good quality sleep but you have to adjust your sheets more often, but let's see if we can reduce one problem for you.
As we don't usually have issues with mattress toppers slipping so I have had to be a little inventive, I do have two solutions that may work. One option is that you could place stick-on velcro in the four corners of the mattress and topper to see if this stops the topper moving. Another option would be if you could stitch elastic to the four corners of the topper that can loop around the corners of the mattress to hold the topper in place.
I hope this is helpful, please let us know how you get on. If you have any problems please do not hesitate to contact the office on 0161 437 4419.
Kind Regards
Michaela
