Pocket sprung mattress on Tempur ottoman base - advice please?

V Howard

We have a king size, slatted, Tempur ottoman base and wondered what mattress would be suitable as a replacement. We are considering a pocket sprung mattress as the current Tempur mattress now needs replacing after 9 years and we are both experiencing back ache from it as well as being 'too hot' during the night.
Please could you advise? Thank you

Hi V Howard,

Thank you for your enquiry on our website.  It is not possible to provide a recommendation in respect of replacement without knowledge of your body weights, preferred feel, budget.  Your body weight(s) will determine the spring tension, this ensures you get the correct support.

Bodyweight Spring tension
Upto 16 Stone / 50-101kg Medium (1.4mm)
16 Stone / 101kg Upwards Firm (1.6mm)
Available in Bespoke Products (Please Call) Soft (1.2mm)

Different fibres are used in the upholstery layers to give different 'feel' and as comfort is subjective to each individual, your preferences and sleeping habits would determine which model would be suitable for yourself. We have two pocket spring ranges, the Origins which is constructed with synthetic fibres and our Artisan range which are constructed with predominately natural fibres.

If you would like to call us on 0161 437 4419 with this information, we will be able to provide advice and guidance in respect of one of our products.  Our office hours are 8 am - 8 pm Monday to Friday and 10 am - 4 pm Saturday and Sunday.

Kind Regards

Michaela
